I am all for helping disabled pets, and for the most part I think they are adorable. I have thought countless times about helping out at shelters for these little babies.

But then I see the blind ones and I just can’t get over them. They creep me the fuck out. They keep their eyes closed all the time which makes their heads look enormous and bulbous. And then I think, what if they open their eyes? What will be there? Will it still be an eye, or is there a reason they keep their lids shut like that? And then, what if I find one and get over my fear, but they do that heightened senses thing and they’re mean? They would just bite me forever because I know I smell good.

God they’re creepy. I will help them still. But Jesus.
